Default Prelude head removal

I"m not a honda guy. Sorry to dissapoint, but im trying to pull the head off my friends 99 prelude h22a and my question is do i have to pull the camshafts to remove the head? I thought i might be able to keep them on considering im only doing the gaskets.

Thanks in advance
-Jimmy

ditto to what everyone has said. Remove the cams, then the headbolts are underneath. Make sure you take them off in the correct sequence so you dont warp the head. I just did this the other day so it's still fresh in my noggin lol
