So i am gearing up to turbo my 88 crx.. it has an ls motor in it.. but the question i have is it a requirement to get an "ecu upgrade"(as in hondata or uberdata) and upgrade the fuel injectors when adding a turbo? i have a fpr.. and shouldn't that be adequate as bigger injectors? i have a t3t04 turbo im putting on.. if you know the answer to this thanks

 

No it is not adequate to just have a fpr. You need a bigger fuel pump, injectors, and a way to control the fuel and timing. So yes, you'll need the hondata,uberdata,aem,etc if you want to do it properly. Right along with a good tune.
