Default starting click

hey i tried starting my new engine today, it was cranking but wouldn't start and this was with my dad's tundra jump starting it. so then i just switched my battery with his and it blew a 10 amp fuse under the dash so i changed it and now i just get a click and it loses power. could it be my main relay? im stuck right now i need this car running

your sparkplug wire.. take it out and point it at something thats grounded. if a spark shoots out when you crank it over then you have spark. if not then you have a problem with either the dizzy or the main relay or some ignition related problem.

i doubt there is because right when i turn the key to start the car , it makes a click and then everything turns off. im going to check my starter to see if that still works by connecting the power and the terminal with the wires, not the ground. how can i know if the main relay is toasted
