Default Invidia V4 Exhaust opinions

I was browsing http://www.s2ki.com and saw a post regarding the new Invidia V4 exhaust. It's supposed to be significantly quieter than the previous 3 versions. This is specifically what sparked my initial interest. I hate exhausts that are loud.

Besides the $1000+ Js, T1R, Amuse, etc this seems to be a very good bargain at ~$650 for a dual system. Does anyone here on Honda-tech have any thoughts, opinions, or experiences with this exhaust system?

Here are some pictures from the S2KI thread. If the owner wants these removed, please let me know ASAP. The pictures below are on a 2007 Laguna. Owner said the Invidia was ~10lbs lighter than stock.

My only concern is on the last picture where it appears that the tips stick out ~1 inch or so. Another member of S2KI stated it was about 1 inch, but I requested closer pictures.

Here's a sound clip at idle and reving at a standstill:

Well, if I ended up choosing this exhaust system and it did in fact stick out like that, I would seriously consider hacking off the tips and having an exhaust shop weld on my stock oval tips. I think that would be nice.

I'm considering this too, a 70mm exhaust thats not too loud and CHEAP! I like the sound of the stock exhaust with a testpipe though...don't really like the invidia scream at high rpms...much prefer my growl.

stock with test pipe sounds like ****

This invidia v4 is a great cheaper alternative to the T1R duals.

Don't like the looks of it (in pictures) gotta hear it run in person.

Could be a nice sounding exhaust.
