help! wiring issues with a b18 swap
were swapping a b18 into my 97 ek. and the gsr engine has a shorter harness and i dont have the piece of harness in between the ecu and the engine harness in the engine bay. what other harness can i use? Im at the shop right now trying to figure it out so please help!
oh and the engine is out of a 94 integra gs4 going into a 97 cx
and how do i wire up the butterfly control valves to work?
any thing else i should know about this swap before i dig a deeep hole i cant get out of?!

if ur gonna do a gsr swap you HAVE TO use your stock harness for 96-00 civics.. the stock harness on the car is a one or two piece while the gsr harness is a 3 piece... what you do is take off the gsr harness.. replace it with your civic harness and then take the parts from the gsr harness and use it for the stock civic harness.. you will have to cut and tape every plug that needs to be converted.. you need to add a knocksensor wire directly to the ecu, vtec solenoid wire, vtec oil pressure switch (if you have one), extended the o2 sensor wires, do the IAC modifications, add IAB or dual butterfly wires for the IAB solenoid located under the manifold. If you wanna save the trouble then buy a civic 96-00 ex harness.. its expensive though.. good luck!
