Default tranny questions, are the pedal/shift lever supposed to vibrate much at high engine speeds?

I'm trying to track down possible tranny probs so I can get everything working properly.

If the car is in neutral and I rev it and move the shift lever to the right and left, it vibrates considerably. Is this normal? also, hte clutch pedal vibrates as well. While in gear, if its past 4k, the shifter also vibrates a bit. Is the vibration normal? its almost as much vibration as a civic/integra shift lever at high engine speeds, which i thought the cable design is supposed to reduce.

If it isnt normal, what could be the causes? Motor mounts (if so which ones to check?)?

My clutch is getting old and wearing down as well, but still useable/driveable. Car/tranny has 150k miles, 94 accord ex, just changed tranny fluid, but have the 5th gear upshift grind.

any other possibility/things to check?

and... I'm wondering how about the side motor mounts? I always hear people refer to front/back for checking and upgrading (to inserts?)... how good are the stock side mounts?

Are your balancer shafts properly timed?

Sometimes when a t-belt is replaced the balancer shafts can be put back out of time. It usually causes a vibration in the floor and pedals.

how exactly do i check that? I don't have the knowledge to change my own t-belt.

and how hard is it to check the rear motor mount? I'm thinking of swapping in a LX/DX/Prelude one if it isnt too hard... maybe that plus a polyurethane insert w/ that rear mount (w/ the front insert as well too).
