steering loose after coilovers installed
I previously had espelir asd springs on MY00 and the ride was perfect etc until I purchased a set of buddyclub racing spec coilovers. got them installed and slammed it, since then my steering is really loose, ie on the free way the steering is extremely sensitive and easily moves left and right over any lil bump , reflector etc, and its pretty scary driving fast.. is this normal on s2k becoming slammed ? my settings are on 2 away from stiffest and the install was correct no need 2 worry about that.. juss havnt gotten alignment yet but still... the steering grips 2 any crease on the road and is a lil too "loose"
is all this normal, I know for integras / civics this wasn't much a problem in my prev cars

You need to get your toe corrected, I bet its way off in the negative range. If you dont get it aligned it will eat up your tires in the next 5k.

maybe they are engineered to have a shorted travel because they are running at a known track surface?(aka no bumps, dips, high way commute)
all you see it's slammed, they might have so much more done to it(shorten damper, stiffer spring, antibump steer, etc)
and when is the last time you see them running around town and attending hardparking meets?
your suspension need travel to work, this is as simple as that

Why run your coilovers so stiff for daily driving? You should run them as soft as possible to prolong their life. If your shocks are not adjusted properly on each corner, your car will have a tweak. You also need to immediately have your car aligned as coilovers when first installed have a dramatic effect on your vehicle's alignment. You will notice an immediate difference with an alignment. Be sure to run 1/16th toe in up front.

It's the toe, I slammed my IS300 and had to drive a good ways to get it aligned. The car would change lanes over a rib in the road. Got it straight and it was good as new.
looked at my tires after like literlally only a week of driving, **** is gone... im need to replace them asap & alignment.. well heres a pic of my car though
