I have found that a long 3/8 extension with a 7/32 allen hex socket on it, feed this down from the top just below/next to the Throttle body, hit it with a big hammer. Oh this works on a D16z6.
Other then that, big hammer and a 7/32 hex bit or punch from the bottom .
When you put it back in leave it so you can remove it easier next time. Or leave it on the tranny and remove it later.

already tried with the hex .. socket extention on the top no luck... tried with a punch with a hammer on the bottom it will not move no luck.. whats next..
should i just drill it out? or cut the shift linkage off.... LOL

you just have to constantly hit it until it moves a little. It gets really tiring but it will come out. I found if you dont stop hitting it it will start to move but if you stop and start it takes longer. I had the same problem. Use a heavy hammer also.
