Dont worry about the block.. just build a d16 block.. The head is going to get you the power.. The block just takes it.. And for turbo? I, along with quite a few others, are rather enamored with the z6.. So I would say a d16z6..

i've been wondering about this myself, but how do the d15 blocks compare to the d16 blocks? are they the same casting just with a smaller diameter bore in the sleeve? is there any real advantage to using a d16 over a d15 under boost?

Theres negligible difference in the blocks, your better off finding one in better condition.
