is there any way to dismantle the speedometers without touching the needles? becasue what i was planning on doing is, just swap the temp, and fuel gauges from the usdm to jdm , and removing the speedometer from my usdm cluster to the jdm one, but with the amber jdm arrow(whatever you call it). i want a jdm cluster that reads mpg will this work?
It should work. The only reason I can't see it working is because the JDM cluster has a much lower top speed and everything is spaced out more (180KM/h vs 230KM/h) It will look like crap though.
yea what im worried about is, the cluster is jdm and having a usdm speedometer device inside that reads mph not sure if it will work, but its plug and play isnt it? so its compatible.
also how do i remove the amber arrow correctly?

Yes, there are KMH to MPH converters. They use them in the UK when they import gray market vehicles. It will make the speedo and odo in miles.

On the odo? Yes, I've done it when switching back to the stock cluster when I was selling my car. Very time consuming.

I used a drill and a rod with a gear to turn it.
