Default endlink thread pitch?

does anyone know the thread pitch on the stock rsx rear endlinks?

i am using them for an alternate project which involves shock extendors that i will be using on the endlinks and need to know which size to get.
stupid function7 lower control arms are too thick to pass a regular endlink bolt and im sick of my clattering spherical endlinks.
hopefully i will be pioneering a new solution for a lot of people suffering with this same problem.

Just bring your endlink to autozone and test fit it on the sizing "board."

Ok...So go to AutoZone and tell them you need the bolt for the endlinks and when they bring it up have them test fit that bolt...

We don't because when you're going to do something new like this you'll have to do some research yourself.

It's not too hard taking a stock endlink off and driving to an auto parts store.

We told you what we would do in the situation given the tiny bit of info you gave us (didn't even tell us you don't have a rsx, wtf). Obviously nobody memorized the bolt specs and I really doubt anybody is going to take an endlink off to get the spec for you (at least now). Did you even call Acura?

ITS NOT THAT SERIOUS!!!!!!
so all you punks stop making something out of nothing. cuz now the thread went to **** and i still didnt get an answer.

i own a 98 civic hatchback...sorry if i didnt mention that...it is a honda site isnt it? everyone shares a little bit of the same stuff on here.
you people are just so quick to start sh-t for no reason.
and i did search. noting comes up. and the dipshits at acura dont know anything.
have any of you ever tried calling acura and asking them for tech info??? ha! good luck with that.

Who cares who started it? Two wrongs don't make a right here.

Besides, who is going to give you any more answers after the first two people recieved this comment:
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by beav &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">ok can people without answers stop giving me alternate solutions please...

And then you have the audacity to bump your topic less then 3 hours later...

Bottom line, us punks don't have the answer for you and Acura must hate you. Looks like you'll have to make nice with an RSX owner. Good luck.

thank you, thats all i wanted to know. theres just a buncha immature little panzies on this site for some reason.
and thank you for making your control arms so damn thick...this is actually all your fault function man!...
since the arms are too thick for stock endlinks, i will be inserting one end of the link into a shock extender bolt to pass that through the arm. the spherical links just arent cutting it anymore. i think i speak for everyone in the EK community when i say we are sick of the clattering noise.

thanks for the LCAs and thanks for the thread pitch. much appreciated.

You're welcome.

We do everything for a reason. The arms are thicker because of the fact that the material is different (i.e. aluminum vs stees). During our extended tests (before we sold any of them) We did rip a few out at the mounting point when used in certain race setups.

Point noted about the crappy endlinks - they are generic components that we put together for our customers, and unfortunately they are a pain for some users and it turns out they usually end up installed wrong. (If you didnt receive an install sheet, PM me for a copy).

We are in the process of making some changes to our linkages - and we'll offer a low-cost upgrade for current endlink owners to bring their endlink kits up to the new spec.

thanks for the input, i figured they were thicker due to the lighter material, its a no-brainer. and i appreciate companies standing behind their work and responding to people, unlike SPC who made the worst front upper arm for 96-00 civics which didnt even clear the inside of the tower, and they never help the people that actually paid $100 per arm. instead they made a $400 upgraded v2 arm. bastards.
well, keep the good products coming and i would love to find out more about the upgrade undlinks as well as the install sheet on the current ones, even though im pretty sure i had it right when i did have them on my car.
