JDM p30 7k rev limit!?

just did my b16 swap and got a gauge cluster and i was gonna take it to 8k to see what it felt like but it would limit at 7000rpm and vtec kicked in at 5000 .... bad ecu????

check the sensors inside the ecu that tell it when to fire spark
