Default 6200 rev limit?

94 ex w/ jdm b16 from hmo jdm p30
i am hitting some kind of rev limit around 6200 rpm.
i have no codes, no codes stored in ecu.
car runs great and is still pulling right to 6200 the rev limit.

any ideas?

Nope, redline is like 7800, so rev limit would be after that.

i hope you dont listen to this guy.. you could check the coil but if your check engine light isnt on i doubt its your distrubutor.. sounds like a ecu or wiring problem.

even the LS rev limit is 7000. your best bet would be the ECU.

on a stock LS auto the rev is 6500. The motor stops making pwr after that. U might be right tho.
