Compression numbers from my 96 ls...
Today i was waiting for my dad to get home since he was my helper while bleeding my brakes and decided to run a compression test because i had bought a tester a while back.
Anyway, the engine wasn't up to operating temp, hadnt driven the car in a week and a half but went down the street and stuff so it was some what warm.
The results were.
Cylinder 1-149
cylinder 2-146
cylinder 3-148
cylinder 4-149
cylinder 5-just kidding...
So those low but a nice balance of numbers, is it only low because the engine wasnt really warm at all? Seeing many people at 200 psi makes me nervous. thanks

The numbers do seem a little low.. but they're all consistent so that's good.
Why did you even do the compression test without the engine at normal operating temperature?
Redo the compression test at normal operating temperature.. and then post #'s.
