Default ? help me please

ok i just swapped a d15b7 from a 95 dx the motor runs good i know that but for some reason when you try to drive the car i loses power and wont go and then at times it will not rev unless you hold youre foot on the gas and then it will gradually catch on and rev i have checked the timing and it seems to be good but i mabe be wrong cause thats one of the only things i suck at and thats timing a car that and i dont have a light..so has anybody had this happen should i just take the car to a shop and have it timed??

was the motor running from where you got it, And did you do the timing yourself

And to do time you going to need to have another person to do this ghetto status.

Frist put the car into gear, next pull plug #1 and stick a long screw driver in it.

with the car in gear push it till the screw driver goes all the way up and stop before it goes back down or try to get it till the driver won't go up anymore.

then pull the cam gear cover off a little but*try not to break it*

and use a flashlight. Look at the markings on the cam/s, and see if the lines on the cam/s line up with the top of the head(Not the vaulve cover) if the line up and the screw driver is at TDC then the timing is fine.

the Map sensor plug and the TPS plug could be backwards.

injects coming from the drivers side just like the spark plugs start at 1,2,3,4 unless all the injector wires are the same length, is not possible to confuse them.

also, check to see if you spark plugs are in the right order.

im using a obd0 dx ecu so it should be ok on this motor and as for the injectors wat i mean is the way the harnesse is made the clips could possibly go on another way cause theres enough lead wire to run the either way..
