I understand that the 94 del sol vtec has basically the same parts as the JDM b16a obd0 pr3 counterpart..

So my question is if i were to order Main and rod bearings should i just order it for the 94 del sol vtec dohc?

There will always be multiple bearing sizes to accomodate for different casting/wearing . .

Best way to do it is measure exactly what size you need.

Im pretty sure those are the same bearings yes, you just have to know what size/ clearances you want to run

All B series main bearings are the same, but there are seven different sizes. One size does not fit all. You have to measure your clearances in order to determine which size bearing you need at each journal.

B19 is correct. If don't have access or funds to get them measured properly, you can read the codes from the block and crank. They will tell you exactly what is the factory bearings size.

PM me if you need help.

Hot damn,

Thanks so much for all your help. It helped me search the web for rod bearing code. found this excellent site
http://www.xproductionz.com/fo...=1029
didn't know the codes were stamped on there.

how hard could it be to measure for bearing sizes? my dad is a electrical and mechanical engineer so he has some sort of micrometer.

how big of a risk is it to take this task on my own?
