Well Heres the setup
1992 Prelude F22A1 Built and boosted.
(wire tucked and emissions removed) - potential for errors here
Bought an ECU (P06) Chipped from a accord guy form another forum. HE burned me a basemap and I plugged it in and things ran great for a couple months.
Then, all of a sudden the car went into limp mode while drivng along at a constant speed. Swapped the stck ECU back in and used SAFC to turn down the injectors so I could drive it home.
Alright, Took the cover off of the ECU and found the SSC chip lookin quite normal.
So just incase, I bought another chip from a guy here on H-T and plugged that one in.. Once again, things went smoothly for a while.. At least a month it ran perfectly. THen the EXACT same thing happened.
So I bought another chip from him and now it is constantly in limp mode with any chipped ecus with those chips in.
Stock ecu runs PERFECT All I need to do is disconnect the charge pipe and it runs just like a normal car with no CEL's (why does it run perf with no CEL's when I removed all the emissions crap?)
So what it does now with the P06 in is:
Put the key in and turn - No CEL's
Start it - starts up fine, but after a second or so, it shuts off with a hurry (im guessing as soon as Limp mode is triggered.) No sputtering or fading out, it just stops. like I just shut it off witht he key. SOLID CEL
I swapped the chip into a P28 I have laying around and it does the exact same thing. As soon as it dies, CEL comes on and with the jumper plugged in, it remains solid..
I put the other chips that I had used before into the P06 or P28 and te exact same thing happens again and again. BUt the stock ECU works perfectly and NO CELS
I have already removed the ZIF socket just incase that wasn't getting a proper connection and it doesnt make a difference.
Does anyone have any idea what could be happening?

That wouldnt do any good if the tuner makes a chip for my car and the chip doesnt work!! I was just woundering if anyone knew what might be happening to it as to why it doesnt respond to the chips or chipped ecus anymore. but will run fine with the stock ecu. if i put the chip that came with the P28 ecu back in it and stick it in my H22A lude it runs fine again. so that ecu should be good but plugging the brand new chip from the P06 into the P28 it does what was described above.
