Default "Silverstar" Replacement Headlights

I did a search and found nothing on this.

Anyways, does anyone have these, and are they worth 25 bucks a pop? Some of us cant afford a few hundred bones for HID's, but still want better lighting.....without looking like a damn run of the mill ricer. Comments?

Thanks.

if your only concerned with "looks", yes, it looks ricey. however it does improve visibility by a bit.

No, I'm not really concerned with looks. Just better visibility. If I wanted looks I'd get the "cool Blue" *****. Ive just heard these things are about 90% as good as real HID's, and I was wondering how true that rumor is.

I'd have trouble believe that....not much comes close to the real thing

I have a set for visability not looks. Work well, don't look as ricey as a PIAA, less blue than most "ricey" bulbs. HTH

You're in the same situation I was. I bought regular 9005 and modified them to fit, it's a little better, not bad for 14 bux total. I couldn't justify 50 bux for light that didn't NEED to be replaced. Regular 9005 helps a little. Maybe sometime in the future I'll upgrade, but this is okay for now. Try searching for 9005, ou'll get more info there.

Word, I wanted some improvement, but didn't want to blow 50 bux on it. There's a difference, I think, but only a small one. Enough to satisfy me for now.

Did you make the autoX? I slept through it... I know there's another one in two weeks.... I'll see about making that one.
