Default EF Sedan Fuel Issues

Ok, so i don't ask a whole lot of questions because i typically don't have them. However, this is going to make me blow my [freak]ing brains out if i don't get some help or an answer pretty quick.

Car: 90 DX Sedan
Replaced: Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Spark Plugs, Spark Wires, Fuel lines
Problem: No fuel pressure to front of the car / no fuel pressure coming out of the tank.

So here's the deal; I replaced the fuel pump, Car wouldn't start. Replaced fuel line that got pinched, car wouldn't start. Replaced fuel filter, car wouldn't start. Replaced spark plugs/wires checked for spark, have spark, but car still won't start. Check pressure at the front of the car, don't have any. Took main line off of tank and primed pump and cranked key no fuel comes out. The pump primes and the relay clicks but no fuel will come out of the tank. Tried with nearly 5 gal's of gas in the tank. Should be more than enough to start the car.

We made sure the car would actually start by pooring gas straight into the throttle body and it does. Shortly after it starting and revving the car stumbles and dies because it's not getting gas. We also made sure that the car didn't have any clogged fuel lines by blowing compressed air all the way through the system and it was in fact free flowing.

Friend thinks it may be the crush washer on the main line with the banjo bolt sealing off the gas from coming out, or that it might be the line that comes from the pump and to the bracket. But that's new... Other than that we took the pump back to autozone and replaced the brand new one for a different one, replaced the strainer, still nothing... final attempt got a napa pump that looks a lot better that came with a strainer and was cheaper (thanks NAPA!)... still nothing. We verified that the pump does run when key is on and does run when car is being cranked. I'm truly [freak]in stumped and a little pissed off at this car right now.

Any help? Thanks in advance.

is there a kill switch on the fuel pump? or a fuse that might be killing power to the fuel pump..

if everything mechanical is correct then it is a wiring issue.. just double check all the fuse boxes inside and out.. check your main relay aswell.

Take a multimeter to the wires/connector at the fuel pump...check for voltages and as said before, double check the Main Relay to see if it clicks.

i had the same problem where i bought a new main relay and it still did the same so i say dont buy it and waste your money. So the pump is not getting power. on the main relay check with wires with a tester. i bet the problem is there.

so you're saying that the problem is more than likely the main relay but you recomend not buying a new main relay...

just check the voltage going into the main relay if it has the normal amount then check the pump. if it has a normal amount then there is something between the two not sending the signal so check the voltage between both and see what you come up with.

I sprayed carb cleaner and it turned on but it turned off right away. so on mine i replaced my main relay and it did the same thing so i wasted money on it. So i tooked down the fuel pump and seen it was not getting any power to the fuel pump to even turn on. so here is what i did.

located the main relay , checked each cable with a light tester to see if they have power. so then i seen it had no power so what i did is get a small peice of wire connect it to a yellow/black to another one cable cant really think which one it was but check em and see if it works

i'll try that... does anyone know if it could possibly be a pressure regulator? i've had a few people suggest this too... but i would think that if no gas comes out of the tank straight from the pump then it wouldn't be that would it?

right i'm just looking for multiple suggestions... it's an obvious statement to tell me i won't know til i try but basing it off of what i have in fact already tried is what i want people to do... i can't try, however, until this weekend as the car is about 80 miles from me at the current moment...
