Default integra's engine keeps stalling

hello
i own a 1992 integra gs, with an automatic transmission. today i was driving and while i was accelerating, the car would cut out periodically, then if i stopped the car my engine would stall. so i was headed home and i stopped and it completely died, no radio or any accesories. so it seems like perhaps a faulty alternator. i'm wondering if i'm correct, but would a faulty alternator cause it to cut for a minisecond during acceleration?

There are a lot of factors to that question. I would start by taking off the alternator and taking it to autozone for the free check, that way you can rule out that part, take the battery at the same time.

I HIGHLY doubt its the alternator.. I mean think about it people... Its a bitch to try and swap the alternator out just to go have it tested... You can test it with it on there with a volt meter...

so right now i'm more or less thinking about if it is indeed my fuel pump, i might as well upgrade it. does anybody know of a decent fuel pump that wouldn't shrink my wallet too much?

Why do you think its the fuel pump? Do you have any CELs?

Why would a lack of fuel cause your electrical system not to function? High performance pumps are only needed if you've done some serious mods, it wont help you one bit, save your money.

My alternator belt snapped a week after I got my 92, make sure it's turning
