Default Door Molding/Trim Removal???

Hey guys - I've been searching to find out about removing the door molding/trim pieces for a 2001 EX - before I pull them off, I just want to know... After removal, are there any holes or anything that would require body work to be done? Someone just told me there are marks that look like this __|.

Thanx!

You can use a hair dryer to loosen up the glue behind them. Pretty positive there are no holes behind them, just glue.

Just to clarify, there aren't typically holes behind them. They're not like previous-gen. Civics.

Thanks for the input guys! I came across the OEM replacement moldings and they didn't mention any clips/holes, only the sticky stuff but I wanted to make sure before I ripped them off!

They certainly are ugly, but be wary of where you park without them. Our sheetmetal is very thin and dents easily.

to clarify ...

2 doors typically do not have holes

4 doors do have holes to attach the side moldings

I didn't even know that 7th gens had door molding/trim like that, cuz mine sure does not.... must have been a dealer option.
