Default Clutch Replacement for 1990 Integra

so i was searching up on the car, and one of the steps is to remove the distributor. DO i really need to? from all clutches that ive done, its not part of the tranny at all

also, is there another way to remove the shift rod linkage without tapping out the pin?

thanks

You don't haft to remove the distributor if you don't want.. I would think it would to be get it out of your way..

As far as the shift linkage.. You can use a 8mm punch and a hammer and tap it out or unbolt the whole linkage.

That ''pin'' is referred to as the bitch pin because people have such a hard time removing it.. With the right tools you can knock it right out.
