Default Precision SC61 E and S compressor housing

Are there housing interchangeable? In example, swapping a S housing on a sc61 that come with an E housing.

Is there even an advantage to this or none?

Precision themselves offer the upgrade I have the sc61 with the s housing. Its been said that it helps out a tiny bit in the top end and helps the turbo breathe a bit but thats all hear say I have yet to see any dyno proof.

I'm pretty sure the backplate is different.
