B16A G2 into 97 GSR
My b18c1 engine is done due to previous owner messing with crankshaft. The pervious owner also cut and spliced the harness. my question is if I get a B16a Gen 2 can it be easily swapped into the Integra. The integra is OBD II. secondly, will the GSR tranny fit with the b16 motor. Alternatively If anyone can come up with a better swap for the money I cna get the complete b16 with tranny, ecu, harness etc. for $2000. i'm looking for no less than 160 HP.
yeah it will be an easy swap just a obd2 wiring harness and your done or with that 2000 you can pick up another gsr motor since you already have a gsr tranny and yes that gsr tranny will fit into a b16 but i would get a gsr if you want more power i have a b16a in my da right now its great but not all that.
You'd be better off with an LS/VTEC in your car instead of the B16. Since the Integra is heavier than the Civic and you're using the longer geared GSR tranny, you're going to be rather disappointed with your car's performance. I would go with a GSR before the B16.
