Overheating after 20 mins of hard driving on a hot day normal?
Hey so I just got my car running for the first time in months today other than the tune, so of course I had to play with it a bit....AFter like 20 mins I noticed the thermo needle head past the center point and head towards the line after it....
I assume it was just hot because of the GT35r turbo having coolant running through it, plus itbeing a hott day, the coolant probably got pretty hot with me pounding on it.
Weird thing is, I turned on the heat in the car, and it was not that hot, it was coming out between warm and hot, if that makes any sense...

1) Coolant system bled properly?
2) Have a good slim fan on not a cheapy one
3)spacing between intercooler and radiator
4)i imagine your running a civic radiator so did you shroud off the AC area?

I thought you just take off the radiator cap to bleed the system?
Yea full-race set up with nice fan, the radiator sits on the left side of the engine bay (looking at front of car) because I KEPT the AC...
