i just got a universal Skunk2 muffler in the mail yesterday. its 2 1/4, and i was wondering how unbearibly loud it is. she came with a silencer, does that help much?

does the cat back have a resonator?

Depends on your piping, if you have a cat or not, and if you have resonators, and how many. Someone just cant tell you how loud its going to be.

 

i was wondering what peeps who have it on their car think of the loudness.

Bump, also interested. I'll have a 2.5" piping but I'll also have a test pipe. How big of a resonator will I need to keep it very mellow?

 

yeah i got a RS*R Invidia w/ my stock cat and 2.25 custom piping...it was pretty loud at first, but not as loud as when i had a test pipe on there. The RS*R Invidia/Skunk2 Mega Flow(same exhaust)..come resonated when its bought with full piping...Mine is loud, but i got used to it...i love it though

-I dunno if that helps ...also I don't have a silencer, so I'm sure that would quiet it down a lil more

I have a Greddy cat back and it's as quiet as can be. In normal driving it's barely noticable. The only thing you notice is a slightly deep tone. But on WOT, it wails. It sounds awesome. No raspity rice rocket exhaust sound, but a smooth, clean, deep tone.
