0BD0 and OBD1 injectors
Does anyone know how to tell OBD0 and OBD1 injectors apart? Do they look any different visually?

well yea u cant use obd1 inj clips on a obd0 inj. plus it also matters if there peak and hold or saturated.peak and hold use a inj. box cometimes mounted on the driver side of the egnien bay(behind the shhock tower) saturated inj dont need a box.
I'm just confused because I'm running rich. I did a d15b vtec swap in my std hatch (D15b1). From what I think I know, obd1 ecu would need obd1 injectors, unless using obd0 injectors w/ resistor box. I'm not sure if my injectors are obd0 or 1. Assuming the 5th gen civic it came from may have had a resistor box, then it would be logical to assume it was using obd0 injectors right? Should I just buy a resistor box and see what happens or look to buying obd1 injectors? If anyone has info I'd appreciate it.
So do you think they could be peak and hold? Its dumping in lots of fuel but Im not getting any error codes and I just had a new head gasket and timing belt put on. Could I have an ecu made to run the injectors at 240cc with out a resistor box? Its running great except for the excess fuel I'm getting.

My car is an 88 std hatch. I just assumed the guys at rywire would tune it for stock injectors. Maybe its ignorance on my part though. I'll hit em up and ask about that.
This weekend I'm gonna try to get my hands on a obd1 ecu just to see if it still runs rich, if it doesn't then atleast I know its the ecu. If it still runs rich Im going to check out the injectors. I really hate this crap! I just took my engine apart too, put new piston rings in, cleaned off all that carbon crap off the pistons. Now there probably black again...aaaaaaaaaaaagggh! Im determined to figure this out.
Just to update this, I found a stock p06 ecu and it runs fine now. No more black stuff in my exhaust or on the outer edge of the tail pipe. No more black specks either on the rear of my car. The ecu isn't vtec though, I'll have to get a vtec ecu later, but it was cheap and I'm glad that solved the problem.
