Default LS Boost power goals

I am starting a LS project in my EJ1...Just trying to get an idea of what "safe" horsepower goal i should shoot for...I am not looking for a 9 second car or anything...Just looking for a basic boosted LS (stock internals) HP goal would be.

200hp is pretty easy on a stock engine.

With a stock LS, a simple turbo setup and a good tune, you should have no trouble reaching into the high 200's if not low 300whp range. There have been several stock LS's that make over 400whp with the right combination of parts, fuel and a great tune.

When you're picking your turbo, you need to be a little more specific with your goals. Saying that you want a "T3/T4" is like going to a car dealership and telling them you want a car. There are thousands of variations out there to pick from.

I would personally suggest either a T3/T04e 50 trim, T3/T04e 57 trim or the STC GT3251e. The last one you're going to have to PM TheShodan about...

I'm running a T3/T04e 57 trim .48a/r at 8psi and made 253whp/222wtq. Can easily get there!

250-300whp can easily be obtained with a decent size turbo and a good tune.
