Need HELP plzz... Anybody know how to get LBJ out??
Ok, so I have a 94 teggy ls and right now I dont know what to do about one thing.... the LOWER BALL JOINT.
I was installing new clutch kit on teggy and got that done just fine, when i noticed the lower ball joint end where the crown nut goes on with the cotter pin through it was smashed and out of round.
Apparently my friend didnt tell me he f***ed it up while helping me out.
The boot on the joint is torn and grease is clearly pouring out.
Basically what i want to know is...
How do I get the Lower ball joint out of the knuckle and off the car itself???
I was thinking of taking the whole portion off the car and pressing out the joint out of the knuckle, but i want to make sure there isnt an alternate and easier way.
Any info, forum links, or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

You might be able to knock it out with a good size hammer.. I'm not sure i've never did it that way..
Your best bet is going to go pick up a lower ball joint ($20-$30) from the parts store
Take the knuckle off and take it to a shop and have them press the old ball joint out..and press the new ball joint in.
Btw- that crown ''nut'' is called a castle nut
**edit**
here's a thread i made a couple years ago... i forgot all about... You can knock it out with a hammer, but it's much easier to just have them pressed
