lower ball joint replacement

lower ball joint replacement
does the cv joint need to come out to replace the ball joint? does the ball joint itself need to be pressed out and then pressed in?

Yes and you can use a BFH.

Re: lower ball joint replacement (Chiovnidca)
just got done replacing the lower joint, 32mm socket,two pickle forks,and a 5lb sledge hammer did the trick and getting the old joint out of the knuckle was easier then i thought.i think i will do the other side next
