I just got done installing my new stage 3 clutch kit I got a few days ago and when I was putting everything back together I noticed that my lower ball joint on the passenger side was messed up. Apparently my friend decided to snap the part the crown nut and cotter pin go on and didnt tell me when he did it.

The boot on the lower ball joint is ripped and i can see grease comin out. I am going to replace the ball joint, but I was wondering how I should get the lower ball joint out of the knuckle part itself.
It comes out of the LCA easily, but is there somewhere i need to pry or something in order to get the lower ball joint completely off the car??

Also, if one of the lower ball joints is messed up, do i need to replace the other one as well??
What you suggest guys??
