Default ---Engine Re-build help & Suggestions---

Recently blew the rings, and head gasket on my Gsr. Since the motor is ganna be ripped apart, i've decided to go ahead, and either get some high c/r pistons, OR an LS crank.

I did some research, and found that the c/r with the LS crank, and gsr bottom end(everything else) is about 11.3:1. I thought about trying to get a basemap chip to tune it for that high of a c/r, and thought about going to phearable.net.

Is that a recommended set-up for a daily driver? i know i'd have to use premium, which i do anyway since i got a 25-shot of nitrous on the car (got it for free ).

i still have to call the guy at phearable.net to see if he can make them chip, which im sure he can, but would it be better or necessary to go S100 or S200 instead?

I'm on a budget build, and a bad tune is what caused my rings to fry, but then again, i dont know anyone to tune the car for me if we get hondata...

Future plans are port&polished head, and maybe some mild cams, so if thats too much of a picky tune for one chip, i might go S100

TIA
