Default AEM bypass valve?

yea im jus curious if the AEM bypass valve actually works all the way? i live in a place where it rains alot an if the bypass valve works really well id like to get a CAI, but if the valve isnt very reliable, id jus like to know a good intake for a jdm b16a 2nd generation. thanks for the help

I would suggest going with a 2 piece Iceman, that way when it rains you can remove the lower piping and have 100% assurance of no hydrolock, that bypass valve always struck me as a semi-rice piece
