I have a d16y7/z6 mini me. I keep getting a cel 22 when i punch on it until redline at 3rd gear. The vtec still engages i think. But it doesnt feel like im getting the full potential of it. My oil is a lil dented on the bottom. and I have replaced the vtec solenoid already and same thing. I used a multimeter and rewired everything and still the same. havent gotten an oil pressure reading yet. When i turn the car off it goes away.

 

is your oil pump good? filter good? oil flow to head?
