i threw a check engine code today cruising on the high way

P1259 Manufacturer Control Fuel Air Metering


did a search...only saw civics/accords threads about vtec malfunction.


what should i begin checking? i was thinking o2 sensor at first but i think thats a different code cus i had that before. but im not sure

so i need some help where to get started looking. and if this is safe to drive on


car is a 2000 integra gsr. only mods are i/h/e. oil is fine. car seems to run fine. dont know if vtec is working cus i didnt think i should be heavy footing around with a cel on

I'm not to sure on the code to be honest.. If the car seems fine

Try resetting the ecu by either pulling negative battery cable or pulling the ecu fuse and see if the code will go away.
