Default Turn Signals Acting Weird/Not working

Ok so it seems problems keep occurring with this hatch...its a 92 CX so my turn signals dont work...well here are my problems:

1.I turn on my headlights..my parking light ALSO come on and the Indications for my Hazards BOTH come on in the Gauge Cluster...weird..
2.When i hit my left or right turn signal my hazards come on..and sometimes the idle will drop or pick up when i hit the turn signal
3.And Sometimes my turn signals wont even come on lol.

BUT when i hit my hazards they will come on and work fine..

try the switch or possibly the actual turn signal/light turn on arm. I had a similar problem in an Integra with my hazards and I replaced the turn signal arm and it stopped. you can get one on ebay for like 7-10 bucks if the new switch doesn't work.

Hey dude, I am not actually a honda guy, but I am an electronics engineer and a fairly decent car mechanic so here is my take on this. Sounds like possibly 2 things. Either the turn signal module that the arm goes in is broken or you have a loose wire inside your steering column. Since your hazards are comming on when you turn your turn signal on in either direction and all your hazards are in ANY car is both turn signals going at the same rate it sounds like the switch inside your steering column is faulty. I would replace that first and see if that works. Hope that helps.

Try replacing the turn signal bulbs. Mine did the same thing, and all it is, is in the turn signal bulb there are two wires, or prongs, or whatever you want to call them. One acts as a running light and the other as a turn signal. Well if you have a bulb in there that only has one prong it could just be shorting out everything and causing massive problems. Just try replacing them first.

it could be a fualty ground connection inside that unit causing all these problems. Your tail lights are part of the same circuit as your headlights.

Dont know if you ever figured this out but it sounds like your ICU, integrated control unit.
