Do your research on this, all i know is that the y8 intake mani is better flowing than the z6. For some reason i dont think someone has done a bench test on the heads yet, but i could be wrong.

i used the z6 and its been running smooth for me so far.

The Y8 head has "Quench Pads" it is more resentent to detonation in the cyl.. Z6 head doesn't have these.. altho if you do it right you wont have detonation anyway.
