difference between z6 and y8 head

difference between z6 and y8 head
i have a d16z6 motor and the guy i bought it from had two vtec heads. one from the 93 z6 and one from a 96 y8. i want to know if there is any difference between them.

first thing...search.
the z6 head is circular cumbustion and the y8 is squared off. the y8 on a z6 bottom end will pull better #'s.

huh how bout that. sorry i am one of those guys now who dont search. aww well its my first offence. better numbers ehh. SWEET, in that case i did get the y8 head and im glad i did. really i only choose the y8 cuz it was cleaner.

Actually the z6 head flows better. Zex Man from the D series bored put down 40 more whp in the top end with the z6 head compared to the y8. This is extreame ammounts of horsepower, but he lost that because of the sqaure combustion chambers in the y8 head.
