I been trying to figure out if the the greddy profec boost controller vacuum filter is a straight through filter, or is it a one way check valve.
can anyone confirms this?
if it is a one way filter which direction is it installed?

 

you want it so that the end of the vaccum line that will sense pressure. You want it so that it opens in the valve.

so it is a check valve?
so it needs to be installed so pressure will go in the control box, but not out.
reason I ask is that I have a used box that did not come with one, but I have some one way check valves laying around.

I am limited to 12 psi right now, I wanna run 20 this weekend. the greddy boost controller is messing up, I am gonna have to run a manual one.
the profec is spiking to max boost when I try to boost over 12 psi.

I called greddy and they say the main unit is bad, I ask for them to repair or replace it and they say too bad, they won't because its discontinued, so I need to buy a new unit. really sucks. I always thought greddy sucked now Its confirmed.

hehe i have had their profec, turbo timer, emanage, 2 bovs, and none of them lasted a year, and greddy told me to take a hike every time... IMHO no name ebay stuff &gt; Greddy!

for this weekened I am using crucians profec b.
then I will be in the states (miami) for 2 weeks I will have mine tested to see whats messed up in it.
if not I will go hondata boost, I can use the greddy solenoid that I wasted my on.

 

greddy need a better service warranty, someting fail and they just say screw you buy another one. kinda reminds me of RLD-FAB.
