Help! My Car Won't Go Into Gear
I recently had a very similar issue just about 4 months ago. My master and slave cylinder failed, had no fluid, and my car refused to go into any gear and the clutch pedal had zero pressure to it.
Now, the clutch pedal has pressure, but only after I pump it like 3-4 times. The first push has nearly zero. After I leave the car heat up, the car will eventually go into gear after numerous tries, and when it finally does go into gear, it will go into the rest of them as well without much of a fight. Then when driving for about the first 5 minutes, it will occasionally grind a little when shifting but once it's been moving for awhile it gives me no problems.
I checked the resivoires and there is clutch fluid in there. The symptoms are similar but not exact so I don't want to think that maybe I got faulty parts or something. Any ideas what it could be or what I should look for before I take it to teh shop?
