Default Battery relocation

I will be running the car at Maple Grove, Atco, Cecil or Englishtown. Im doing a battery relocation to the trunk. Im wiring the positive straight to the starter and then running another wiring in parrall from there to the fuse box. Im running an odyssey pc680 battery. I want to run this:

in the trunk. What I wanted to do was just weld that to the trunk floor. However do I need to have the battery in a box ? Does it need to be sealed ?

Also do I have to run a fuse or breaker inline or a kill switch ?

Im not asking will this work im asking does it technically pass tech inspection ?

Your going to need a sealed box with a vent going through the truck floor. You are also going to need a cutoff switch.

YES. bolted down, sealed box, cut off switch needed if battery is relocated inside the vehicle

The fasteners must be a minimum of 3/8" in diameter to meet NHRA safety requirements.
