Ok, I swapped out my blown non vtec 2.2 for a sohc vtec 2.2....since then the damn engine light has been on. I was in new mexico so it smogged fine. Moved back to Cali and they wont smog it because the light is on. Took it to the mechanic, it was throwing a O2 code and fuel pressure code, replaced both sensors and it still wont turn off....without paying dealer prices...what should I do?

I have a 96 accord lx chassis with an ex motor....2.2 sohc vtec
Im not a gear head at all really, although im willing to spend my spare time learning...but any help offered would be greatly appreciated.
