Default noob to hondas bought a del sol

I just bought my first Honda last Tuesday.
Its a 1993 Del Sol.
I picked up this great running Del sol with new tires for 2 grand.

except for that very slight, hardly noticeable fading on the hood. Sweet man, leave it stock and beat the crap out of it. you'll have a great time.

thats a good buy

For the fading hood buy some rubbing compound and a buffer. Then make sure you wax it

Nice ride, great pickup. If you want more power one day, do some research on swaps (this is a great place to look), start saving up money and drive it for awhile with that engine in it; Then when you feel you have enough cash, swap it out. If not, just drive it the way it is, that engine will last a very long time.

Goodluck with whatever path you take, and welcome to the addicting world of Honda.

Just look at the code on the block, it will either be D15B7 (non-VTEC) or D16Z6 (VTEC).

sweet!
remember to properly lube all your
targa seals to avoid the occasionally rain drips.

& if you have door panel crinkles its ok, 90% of all del sols have them.

have fun!

That isn't a D15B7 (1.5), I think it's a 1.6 Si, so probably SOHC VTEC, somewhere around 130 HP. Nice score. Do the timing belt to be safe.
