Idols too high
I checked the hoses for any leaks but didn't find any. When I start the car it'll idle a little below 1000. Than after about 15-20secs. it goes up to 2500-3000rpms!!! I checked the hoses and I changed my throttle body, too... You think it might be my idle control valve???
correct me if I'm wrong, but the IACV usually starts the RPM's out high when the engine's cold and if it's "stuck" then it will continue to hold the RPM's up even when it should be closed and then the RPM's will bounce as it is battling with the ECU to bring the RPM's back down, so I wouldn't say that is it. IACV when it's all the way open only revs the engine to about 1500 RPM's anyway.
I would say to re-check for vacuum leaks, and perhaps other leaks in the intake manifold as well? do you have the engine light on?

like i told someone in here da same thing.5 reason why ur car idlez like that.manifold gasket maybe torn, throttle body gasket might break, hose leak, throttle sensor maybe filled with rust.and iacv.check on all that.i go through aloy of cars like ur'z.here's a little cheat that u can get rid of da idle.inside ur throttle body,it should have a small hole in there plug da whole up with duck tape or electric tape.ur idle will go away.good luck on it.b20 and b18 throttle body should be da same.

easy way to find if you have a leak is to get intake/carb cleaner and spray it all over your I/M gasket and any other pieces that have seals. if your motor bogs down you have a leak.. clean your IACV also I noticed thats a big things with high idleing hondas
