Front strut boot making hideous noise
First of all, this is my 2nd post on the first day on this forum.
I recently had the front struts changed on my 04 EP3 hatch. After strut replacement, the front strut boot/bumpstops make hideous noise while going over small bumps. It started with a low key moaning type noise (I know). Now the front left makes noise as if everything is falling apart. Checked all the bolts/nuts (after taking the wheel off) and everything is tightened accordingly. I can't seem to figure out what the issue is. Can it be a bad shock mount? Or may be the spring it's tightened enough to the strut assembly?
Did anybody experience this? My friend and I did the shock replacement ourselves so I can't really take it back to a shop to have it looked.
Some help please, oh btw, I did search and found nothing.

Search using different keywords--this is a common problem that comes from assembling the strut incorrectly, installing backwards or leaving something loose.
