Default LS/Vtec Supercharged

So check this out, my 99si b16a2 i Superchargered Jackson Racing style! and now im got a b16 and a hole in cyl three piston.

Im getting a b18b2 LS short block and keeping the head from my B16. what i need is advice on what i need to do to the short block to make my LS/Vtec RELIABLE, EVERY DAY DRIVER, QUICK (of course) with a budge of $800-Tune not included! the boost put out about 6-7PSI thanks guys!

the JRSC shouldn't have popped a piston with a good tune.

reliable? Get a darn good tune on it via hondata or crome, something like that.

Rod bolts if you are going to beat the **** out of it to redline and a good tune

use the vtec oil pump from your b16a block on the ls block and arp rods bolts.tune it and get back to us....

yea definitely should tune it. a friend of mines blew his mild built gsr (pistons and rods with stock sleeve) by bolting on supercharger and maxing on the freeway without a tune.

There is no "should"...tuning is an absolute MUST. Without a tune you're just going to have problems. i think it's ridiculous that people skimp on the tune...its the most important part of the whole setup

tell me what you think?
arp rod bolts, gsr bearings(custom), arp rods, typeR water and oil pump, refubished head, and tuned of course!
im going crome with a jumper harness and computer, but i wanta install it my self, i need some tips on DIY, i heard its easy!
whata ya think?
