to be honest, i'm not sure which are the best, but i would not recommend going with the AEM units. they only employ the usage of three bolts and many here on h-t have had problems with them slipping (

i dont think there is a difference, but the difference is the dyno tuning and the shop who dyno's your gears...
Make sure you get a dyno, or they are useless

i use the skunk2 gears. 6 bolts hold em. just consider this..the more bolts holding it in place...the better. aem has a history of slipping..so skunk2 and dc sports ones have like 5 and 6 respectivly. but its your money....buy what you like.

one of the shops that told me they all work the same. And this guy that i know with a stroked b16 to a 1.8 said them same. I would only trust cam gears with alot of screws like sk2 and jg

If I had to choose between SKUNK2 and AEM, I would get the SKUNK2 (which is what I have now). But either one will not make much of a difference if you don't plan on tuning them on a dyno. If you really want to get your money's worth, I suggest TODA or Spoon. I regret getting the SKUNK2's. Should have saved and spent the extra cash for the TODA or SPOON.

whats so special about TODA or SPOON? they arent all that greater than SKUNK2s.
actually the Toda gears swear they are the most accurate. 3 bills for some damn cam gears tho..not worth it

haha I know probably gettin it for the name Toda and Spoon lolz. But then I'd rather invest my money in Skunk2 vs AEM. Skunk2 is much more secure than AEM 3 bolt design

I have RACE ENGINEERING cam gears , there lighter than most of the others & have never loosened or slipped , I like them but RACE ENGINEERING is the little guy & is'nt reconized like SKUNK 2 or AEM but some people just got to have that BIG NAME! ( SUPPORT THE LITTLE GUY) "JUST THINK EVERYONE LAUGHED AT AMAZON WHEN IT STARTED UP"
