I couldnt find any topics relating to the new 5 bolt AEM adjustable cam gears.

Anyone who has ever said they had problems with the AEM cam gears slipping was using the older 3 bolt design. Has anyone had any problems with the 5 bolt cam gears?

Does anyone still favor the Skunk2 6 bolt cam gears over the AEMs? Somepeople dont like the allen bolts that are used on the Skunk2's.

 

alot of people around here favor skunk2 because they are worth the money. they def. choose them over the aem 3 bolt pattern but as for the new aem im not sure because its newer and hasent been used as much

 

I agree, the 3 bolt AEM cam gears are out. I am not considering them. Im trying to decide between the new AEM 5 bolts or the Skunk2s.

I havent read about anyone using the new AEMs tho.

 

Why not use the str cam gears?

 

They are very similar to the Skunk2 cam gears in design so its just a personal preference. Im trying to pick between skunk2 or aem.

local shop told me that str and ge cam gears are same thing is that true? actually he said str is made by ge
