Overs pray Removel
Long story short, got paint over spray all over my windshield at work. What is the easiest and safest way to remove it. I work at a shipyard so the paint is for ships if that helps.
actually it's all over the car but the main thing i'm concerned about is the windshield because it's fairly new maybe a couple of months. it's on my carbon fiber hood to but i can clay bar that out.

thats actually not a great idea, not only can it cause micro scratching of the glass it can trap small particles of the steel in the glass surface if there are any pits already and those particles will rust over time.

0000 Stainless Steel Wool? Nah, glass is tougher than this so it won't scratch it. Don't take my word for it though, I only use it everyday on glass. Look it up man! Google is your friend!

I do glass for a living, everyday as well, but hey what would I know I have only been in the industry for 12 years, and I have been around it 28( my father is the head of training and technical for the biggest autoglass replacement company in canada )... and the side glasses that are tempered are considerably softer than the windshield, and they scratch considerably easier.

claybar the paint to get overspray off, as for the windows just use methyl ethyl ketone on a rag. it may be difficult to find (check any painters store). here is a link to one i found. http://www.castlewholesalers.c....html

thx for the replys but i used windex and razorblades on the windows, and it came out great. took about an hour and a half. as for the hood it took me two days to clay bar and wax.

I do it all the time. Just keep it in mind for the future.</TD></TR></TABLE>
i was wondering if that was possible but was a little hesitant to try it.
