i recently bought a zc sohc for my 93 civic and was wondering what car it originally came out of b/c i need to know what engine parts to ask for when i go to autozone etc. thankx

 

zc is jap motor and im not sure... BUT the zc is directly related to the soch vtec d16's so i would just buy parts like that...

how did u end up timming the zc kuz i kant seem to time it?

 

im pretty sure they came out of the crx. but the motor is a jdm motor. so im really not sure

 

on the block if the first number of the serial is 5 then it came from a 2nd gen integra and if it starts with a 2 its from a civic/crx

 

there are 3 ZC motors, there is the DOHC ZC which is obd0, then you have the ZC SOHC non-vtec, and also the ZC SOHC Vtec, if you need to buy parts for it then you relate it to one.

ZC sohc non-vtec --- 1.5... 92-95 Honda Civic DX
ZC sohc vtec --- 1.6..... 92-95 Honda Civic EX, 92-95 Honda Civic Hatchback Si, 92-95 Honda Del Sol Si
